Git Down, Girl, G'on 'head, Git Down
So, I really like the Kanye West record, and I really enjoy Lost on the DVD. I am now officially a boring white cocksucker.
Minor mitigating factor: I tried, but really don't like the new Paul McCartney record. Will that stop me from seeing him at the Key Arena? Will it, fook.
In other news: Between sales and (official) downloads Little By Little... is on the fast track to surpass the total audience of King James Version in just the first three weeks of release. Without getting too deep into dollars and cents, I can disclose that the budget for recording and promotion between the latter (released on a major label, with the full muscle--or at least the illusion of that muscle--of WEA distribution behind it) and the former (fully funded by the band, with limited national distribution exclusively in independent record stores) is roughly 20 to 1.
If I had any pride left, I would definitely be proud at this point.
(in other news, on day 5 of week 6, I finally got my own desk at work today. good times.)

Howdy!
Congrats, and in a day or two, your pride should start showing signs of life again.
Im telling you! I talked to John the other night here in San Diego at the Keane show. I say you and TLW tour with Death Cab, so that when you guys keep playing poker ... you can have the $ to call all Ben's bluffs ;)

p.s I wrote you an important private message on the HD board. ;)
Congratulations on the new release. Being a geek on the internets and a fan of the band, I am completely thrilled that the album is getting so much exposure.
Let me know when you run out of bubble gum. I would hate for you to be kicking any ass without something to chew on.
It seems it is playing on the radio every time I get in the car! Yay for you guys!
Hey Sean,
I've been following your blog for a bit now (spare as it's been in recent times), and wanted to drop you a line. You're just fab; I'm not sure whether I'm inspired or simply cowed by your apparent creative energy. I'll pick inspired. At any rate, Little by Little is the bee's knees; the wife and I are trying to arrange a time when we can actually see you and your fellow globe-hoppers perform. Does that sound middle-aged? oh lord, load the gun...
congrats on all the downloads... and even more importantly, congrats on your own desk at work. all i can picture is the scene out of 'brazil' in which sam has to share a desk with his neighbor through the hole in the wall.
p.s. there are plenty of reasons to be proud of your music, little by little is just one of them.
hey i gotta admit, never really been a danger fan before, never gave you guys a shot in all honesty, but after 3 friends pushed, i listened to Little by Little off of bittorrent, i've listened to it 4 times straight, over and over, it's great. i'll be getting it and giving your other albums a go round when i get them off Amazon.com next friday when i get paid. Good Job, Great Album, and the Bittorrent thing was cool, you guys got at least one new fan because of it. Hope this message becomes a trend for ya. - Caleb

I love Harvey Danger. You guys totally made my day yesterday when I read that you were offering free downloading for Little By Little (okay, so I'm a little behind on checking sites...okay, very behind). It was a bad week, and I am now broke as hell, but I assure you and the band that I will buy the T-shirt set. Because that's awesome. And I like shirts.
By the way, I also love and appreciate all the Greek references in "Ballad of the Tragic Hero." It shows that your band is intelligent--which is hott. I've been meaning to have all my Classics profs listen to that song. At least the first half. ... Because I'm a dork.
Yeah.
Honestly, while liking LIttle by Little a whole lot, it's sad that King James Version did so poorly. I still consider it vastly superior to the debut. And perhaps still on the fence about 2 vs. 3 being beyond. While some of the songs on Little outshine, the King might have had a more cohesive sound. But why am I nit-picking brilliance as if I have some?
